The Sydney headquarters of Bovis Lend Lease, located on the city's famous harbor, are making news as one of Australia's most advanced "green" buildings. The building's all-glass western face gives impressive views of the waterfront. But since it also has significant sun exposure, a computer-controlled solar-control system is needed to control glare and thermal gain. This system not only makes the building more environmentally friendly, but also adds visual impact, and even responds to high winds when necessary. More >
