Opened in the fall of 2021, the Veterinary Education, Research, and Outreach Center (VERO), a regional veterinary teaching center at West Texas A&M University serves as a learning space to supplement externship programs in rural Texas. The 36,000 square foot facility features research and teaching labs, administrative offices, and conference and meeting spaces.
Also featured are exterior sliding and fixed shutters by Hunter Douglas Architectural. Ranging in size from 3'x6' to 4'x12', the powder-coated wood grain systems function as a design feature, adding texture to the building's façade.
